		Polegreen Foundation Unveils New Attractions September 2, 2008 On September 2nd, the Historic Polegreen Church Foundation unveiled its newly enhanced website. In addition this virtual enhancement, the Foundation welcomes visitors to the Church site for its ceremonial ribbon cutting event on September 20 at 11 a.m.
		Away We Go: Richmond's St. John's Church: A Prelude to Liberty July 6, 2008 History loves company, and the pleasure of yours is welcome this summer at St. John's "Liberty or Death" re-enactments. During this visitor-friendly happening, professional actors in 1770s dress will portray 10 of the most important "players" at the Second Virginia Convention.
		Independence: On the road to Revolution with Virginia's famed orator Patrick Henry June 28, 2008 The new Road to Revolution Heritage Trail is a motor route that connects historic sites central to Henry's life, many of them south of Fredericksburg in Hanover County.
		Planning Commission Hears History Lesson on Polegreen Church June 26, 2008 The Hanover Planning Commission and citizens in attendance learned about some local history at the Commission's June 19 meeting.
		Revolutionary War Survey Kicked Off June 12, 2008 Hanover County has joined Caroline, New Kent, King and Queen and King William counties in supporting a Revolutionary War Road and Transportation Survey that will identify and record the actual roads and waterways used during the campaign of 1781, which ended with American victory at Yorktown.
